County Line Animal Hospital has been serving La Habra and the surrounding communities since 1954.
Steven Mazzi, DVM
Dr. Mazzi is a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at University of California at Davis. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly Pomona and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Mazzi has spent 11 of his 12 years as a small practitioner caring for his patients at County Line Animal Hospital.
Brenda Kauffman, VMD
Dr. Kauffman obtained an undergraduate degree in Biology from Houghton College in New York State. She acquired her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. She completed a 1 year internship in emergency and critical care medicine in 1995.
Dr. Kauffman practiced at an emergency and critical care facility for 3 years before joining her husband, Dr. Mazzi, at County Line Animal Hospital in 1998.
She performs the majority of our surgical and anesthetic procedures.
Dawn Dempsey, DVM
Please welcome Dr. Dawn Dempsey, who received her doctorate in June of 2006 from Ross University. As an undergraduate, she earned her Bachelor of Science with pre-vet major from Cal Poly Pomona, and completed her clinical year at Purdue University while in graduate school.
Dr. Dempsey has a special interest in small animal and exotic medicine and surgery, as well as homeopathic medicine.
